Opinions rendered through Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) Signature Review are non-transferable, by purchasing a Signature Review opinion the customer agrees to the following: (a) only the original purchaser of the Signature Review is entitled to a $10 credit off of BAS’s regular authentication price, if they are the winning bidder of the item, and submit it to Beckett Authentication Services within 90 days. (b) Signature Review opinions shall not be reproduced or distributed to any third party without BAS’s expressed permission.
Certification and authentication involves an individual judgement that is subjective and requires the exercise of professional opinion, which can change from time to time. Therefore, Beckett Authentication Services does not guarantee that any opinion rendered through Signature Review will agree with the opinion rendered by BAS once the item is submitted for full authentication, as such, BAS makes no warranty or representation and shall have no liability whatsoever to the customer for the opinion rendered by Signature Review with respect to any item, including, but not limited to, losses or damages incurred by any person as a result of relying upon any Signature Review opinion in connection with the purchase (or non-purchase) or sale of any item.
All fees paid to BAS are NON-REFUNDABLE once the order for Signature Review is placed, except, for those items in which Beckett Authentication Services is unable to render an opinion.
BAS authenticators will only evaluate a single item per Signature Review, except for auction lots from nationally recognized Auction Houses, which may contain a grouping of items. The opinion rendered by BAS is limited to only those autographs which are visible in the images provided.
The rights and obligations of both you and Beckett shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, excluding its choice of law rules. By your submission of items to Beckett, you hereby (a) agree to all of the terms and conditions listed above (b) submit yourself to the exclusive venue and jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division and/or the District Courts of Dallas County, Texas, and (c) expressly waive any venue or jurisdiction to which you may otherwise be entitled by your present or future domiciles.
